Job Description - Lead Marketing Strategist - South Bend, IN

Our experienced Business Development team prospects great local businesses and organizations that need to grow every day around our community, and we need YOU to take what they found and turn it into full-funnel marketing magic that will get them results they can see. Your role will be client-facing and team-driven. You will utilize many great local broadcast, streaming, and interactive options alongside enhanced digital options to really make our campaigns not only generate results, but market-leading! And, when our clients win, you can win too.

This is an ideal role for a tech-enthusiast that can create, but also explain, influence, and sell their vision for a project or campaign to help earn business and solidify confidence and trust from our clients that we will help them achieve growth.

As the Lead Marketing Strategist in South Bend, you will:
Create strategies for radio, interactive, digital services and event promotions in tandem with Business Development staff members with a focus on design, packaging, experience of the user, value for the client/listener and engagement of users.
Design all your own visual campaign components using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Microsoft 365 (Office).
Execute and manage projects to successful completion, owning every part of the process alongside our Success team members, as well as being a secondary relationship resource to the client on behalf of the Business Development team members.
Compose and deliver compelling presentations that highlight the strategy and its outcomes for client success.
Show expert-level understanding of our products and their value to our audiences and clients, with the chance to help us come up with new and innovative ideas that solve problems and create growth. We will train you, but you must do the work to learn and own product knowledge.
Train our Business Development and Influencer teams on tactics, trends, and strategy development to keep the sales pipeline flowing with good prospects
Research opportunities thoroughly and proactively, identifying an advertisers needs and making sure were providing a useful solution with an effective ROI
Join our Business Development staff members and managers in-field or virtually to call on clients: assessing their needs, explaining, and presenting products, and following up with current clients to provide analytics & insight

For the right candidate with experience, we will consider a management position

Your Experience should include:
Outside sales experience is helpful, especially in media or digital media, but we will train the right person.
Expert abilities utilizing software in the Adobe suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro; plus Microsoft 365 (Office) suite.
Website design and/or CMS editing. Experience with WordPress platforms is a plus.
Using and creating marketing materials for events, media, websites, and social media platforms. Creating materials for use in apps is a plus.
A mastery of all current trends and available tactics in digital marketing.
A college degree program focused in digital marketing, marketing, sales, business or similar is preferred, but not required.
CRM experience with HubSpot or other comparable service

A Well-Qualified, Experienced Candidate Will Have:
Sales, Account Executive, or Sales Management experience.
HubSpot data quality and marketing suite intermediate to expert level experience.
Experience selling, or planning, and utilizing tactics such as: radio, video/OTT/CTV/YouTube, Email Marketing, SEO, SEM, PPC, Targeted Display, Geofence Display, Landing Pages, Social Media, Streaming Audio Advertising, etc.
Project Management background organizing and managing deadlines and stakeholders.
Utilization of a billing system such as Marketron, or comparable service
