Description

Spa Brezza, located in San Diego Mission Bay Resort, offers treatments including massages, facials, nail treatments, Himalayan salt, hand & foot care treatments as well as full day packages and relaxation lounge (including tea, water, light snacks). Our 7,500 square foot facility features 9 treatment rooms, locker room, fitness center, retail boutique, and a full hair and nail salon. We are excited to welcome a new Lead Massage Therapist to our Mission Bay Resort Family.

As Lead Massage Therapist, you serve as role model in all job functions, maintain a thorough knowledge of Spa and Resort programs, facilities, activities, and products. Comply with all company safety, health policies and procedures. Desire and ability to educate team members, sell products/services to guests, in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Maintain services/treatment inventory supplies. Ensure team members provide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitality to all guest according to resort standards.

Requirements

To be successful in the Lead Massage Therapist position, you:

• Have experience in a similar size Resort/Spa
• Administer massage and other body treatments to spa guest according to treatment outline as needed
• Fill in for other massage providers as needed.
• Successfully perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Have the ability to work in a high-volume customer service environment while maintaining composure and provide excellent service to all guest
• Are reliable, take initiative and ability to communicate with management team
• Maintain availability to work weekends, holidays and evening
• Implement BOH SOPs, 
• Assist in Treatment Protocol development
• Managing room assignments and practitioner schedules, 
• Operational Supplies Management
• Assist Spa Manager in SPecial Events, 
• Collaborate with spa manager to create revenue driving strategies.
• 10+ years of therapeutic bodywork experience
• 5+ years of Resort Spa Experience
• Have a current Massage Therapist License from the City of San Diego and/or a certification from the California Massage Therapy Council, required
