What You'll Do
The Lead Medical Assistant plays a vital role on our healthcare team, providing both administrative and clinical support as well as supervision of Medical Assistants in a clinical setting. They will provide direct, compassionate and professional medical care to patients at our Clinic West Campus under the supervision of a medical provider and serves as a leader and professional role model to department members at all times. 

• Works collaboratively with the clinic manager to assist in onboarding new MA staff and providing ongoing education to all MA staff by identifying needs and recommending training.


• Participates in quality initiatives and process changes to ensure that MA staff understand and are able to accurately collect data.


• Assists with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program.


• Tracks sample medications.


• Fulfills staffing needs by working in all provider pods.


• Attends meetings as required.


• Completes various special projects as assigned.


• Monitors the delivery of patient services for effectiveness, efficiency, and clinical excellence.


• Medical Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, administering patient immunizations, recording or inputting information into patients' medical records, and other general patient care activities.

Who We're Looking For

• CMA/RMA certification or equivalent experience preferred


• BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire)


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required


• Demonstrated reliability, teamwork, and patient service

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
