Lead Medical Scribe/Assistant

FULL TIME, IN PERSON CANDIDATES ONLY

Growing medical group is seeking a Lead Medical Scribe/Assistant who has interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal concerns and/or family medicine or is interested in learning about a new field of medicine. Candidates should be interested in working with patients of all ages.

***This position has the potential to grow into a managerial position. Thus, applicants with experience in a medically related field, who are looking for a long-term role, and have managerial experience will be prioritized. Candidates who are NOT able to commit to a full year of employment will not be considered.***

Must have the ability to listen attentively and discern what information to add to the patient’s chart, follow physician guidance, and verbalize needing support when something is unclear.

Candidates must also be willing to assist with administrative and clinical duties, such as but not limited to answering phones, making appointments, triaging calls, scanning, and obtaining prior authorizations.

Requirements

• COVID 19 Vaccination - Must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination prior to hire date.
• Willing to properly wear a mask for the entirety of the work day.
• Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Athena experience is a plus.
• Education in a medically related field is a plus.
• Experience supporting other primary care physicians is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
