Position Overview
The Lead MOB are responsible for leading and managing the MOB team and serving as a vital resource for HQ and Operators/Franchisees throughout the company. The Lead MOB must embody and uphold Dutch Bros culture and values to the highest degree. They play a critical role in expanding our brand in new and existing markets and are at the forefront of leading the trajectory of Dutch Bros’ growth.
KRA's
Oversee the execution of Dutch Bros Openings, ensuring each opening provides a mind-blowing experience for our customers and employees:
Conduct pre-trip activities, including attending a pre-trip Operator meeting, and hosting an all-MOB in-shop training meeting
Assist Operator with facilitating hiring party
Successfully execute Friends and Family Night, troubleshooting any challenges that arise and communicating with all stakeholders as necessary
Coordinate and host the culture drop prior to opening
Oversee all opening activities, ensuring our core values are being properly executed by the assigned MOB team and shop employees
Execute designated traffic plan for the opening
Responsible for ensuring thorough training of employees at openings
Perform and record timings of walk-up/drive-up customers every day, for at least 30 min on the busiest shifts to determine if bottlenecks exist
Communicate daily with Operator, RAC, and MOB team- addressing large-scale problems, sharing feedback, and completing established check-ins
As requested, complete DBOAs for franchise shops and attend day-of openings
Responsible for all personal reimbursements - per diem, expense, mileage - and using the appropriate forms (due weekly)
Communicate all travel and hotel needs to MOB Admin
Manage the MOB team by providing training and support to ensure they successfully achieve their KRAs:
Facilitate training of new Lead MOB and support the onboarding and training of the MOB team
Oversee MOB team, while on the road, and ensure they are adhering to the Dutch Bros standards
Responsible for ensuring the MOB successfully executes their KRAs and providing coaching and corrective action, as needed
Utilize the MOB Management Tool
Schedule weekly meetings with the MOB team to emphasize the focus for the team, discuss any challenges, review the schedule, and provide vision to the team when on the ground. Ensure Nightly Drops via Band communication tool
Adhering to local and state laws on meal and rest breaks, create the on-site schedule for MOB and, in conjunction with the Operator, the schedule for shop employees
Complete administrative tasks, such as documenting post-trip MOB reviews and approving MOB time cards
Review trip feedback provided by the MOB team and make any necessary improvements with guidance from the RACs
Work on training materials and processes, MOB documents, and leadership development when not on the road
Serve on special ops trips, including but not limited to, being a stand-in Operator, covering Leave of Absence and FMLA Leave:
Serve as emergency support throughout the company, as needed, including acting as interim Operator to cover Leave of Absence, Parental leave, and FMLA Leave
Follow all standards and processes as laid out in the Field Guides
Complete scheduled check-ins with Regional Activation Coach and Business Coach to ensure operations are running smoothly
Job Qualifications
3 years of current Dutch Bros shop experience, including 1 year of current and continuous shop management experience, required
Operator/Franchisee and Business Coach endorsement required
Must have a submitted Operator Qualification Application prior to applying

Experience with hiring/training/coaching/firing employees
Experience with maintenance, stock/order, inventory, scheduling
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to execute quick decision-making
Desire to commit to the Lead MOB role for at least 1 year, preferred
Completion and passing of standard background check and MVR required
This position requires driving, when necessary and must have a valid driver’s license
Schedule:
Travel for up to 12+ weeks at a time
Must have willingness to travel during holidays

Constant standing/walking, up to 10 hours at a time
Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling

Compensation:
$70,000
