Position Overview
The Lead Patient Care Trainer at Gifthealth is responsible for overseeing the training and development of patient care staff. This role involves creating training programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring that all patient care staff are knowledgeable and compliant with company standards and regulations. The Patient Care Trainer Lead will also provide ongoing support and mentorship to patient care staff to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for patient care staff, ensuring all training materials are current and effective in teaching the best practices in patient interaction and care.
Supervise and mentor a team of trainers, enhancing their skills and ensuring high-quality training delivery.
Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with managers, ensuring that training programs meet the operational needs and comply with healthcare standards.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional development.
Manage the certification process for patient care staff, ensuring all members meet required healthcare service standards.
Collaborate with healthcare management to align training programs with operational goals and patient care objectives.
A Few Things About You
Strong leadership and educational skills with a proven ability to develop and deliver training materials.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and inspiring a team.
In-depth knowledge of patient care operations and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Experience in curriculum development and training in a healthcare or patient care setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient care with at least 2 years in a training or educational role.
