Lead Physical Therapist – Early Start Program (0–3 Years)

Are you a passionate Physical Therapist looking for more than just another job? At Home of Guiding Hands (HGH), you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of infants and toddlers with developmental delays while mentoring fellow therapists and helping shape the future of our Early Start Program. This full-time leadership role serves families throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties and combines direct patient care with staff development.

What You'll Do


As our Lead Physical Therapist, you'll work directly with children from birth to age three and their families by:



  • Conducting developmental evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans.

  • Providing therapy in homes and community settings.

  • Partnering with families and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's progress.

  • Assisting with Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs).

  • Mentoring and training fellow therapists while supporting quality assurance initiatives.


What We're Looking For


We're looking for someone who is compassionate, collaborative, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.


Qualifications include:



  • Current California Physical Therapist license

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (CAPTE accredited)

  • At least one year of pediatric experience (birth to age 5)

  • At least one year working with individuals with developmental disabilities

  • Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
