LEAD PRACTICE MANAGER - WEST REGION
Position Summary
The Lead Practice Manager plays a vital role in ensuring operational excellence across ProCo/AICA medical facilities in the western Atlanta region. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of assigned medical offices while achieving key business outcomes through effective leadership, resource optimization, and quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will excel at staff development, operational efficiency, and creating exceptional patient experiences while embodying all core competencies of the organization.
Key Outcomes & Responsibilities
Practice Performance
- Drive and achieve clinic revenue targets and patient volume goals
- Maintain high patient satisfaction scores through exceptional service delivery
- Implement efficient workflows that maximize provider productivity and patient throughput
- Ensure proper documentation for all rendered services to maximize reimbursement
People Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing staff across all clinic positions
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Practice Managers and Site Coordinators to improve their leadership effectiveness
- Create a professional, positive work environment that promotes staff engagement and retention
- Manage appropriate staffing levels to ensure quality care while controlling labor costs
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
- Identify potential future leaders and create development paths for team advancement
Operational Management
- Serve as a liaison between Practice Managers and EVP Clinic Operations
- Implement and monitor compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel (front and back office)
- Coordinate with medical providers to optimize scheduling and patient flow
- Manage medical supply inventory and procurement to prevent shortages while controlling costs
- Maintain effective relationships with attorneys, case managers, and referral sources
- Ensure operational compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements
- Oversee approximately seven clinics in the western region, including established locations and new startups
- Provide operational oversight for related business entities within the same geographical area (MRI, Summit, rehabilitation centers)
Communication & Coordination
- Facilitate clear communication between providers, staff, and senior management
- Collaborate with support departments to address operational challenges
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and referral sources
- Respond promptly to patient concerns and implement service recovery when needed
- Provide regular performance updates to senior leadership
- Participate in leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field preferred
- Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field highly valued
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare leadership/management
- Demonstrated success in medical practice management and staff development
- Experience in multi-site healthcare operations required
- Experience in personal injury and third-party liability service lines preferred
- Background in healthcare systems or multi-disciplinary practices highly valued
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with healthcare management software (NextGen, Phreesia, eCase Manager, Smartsheets)
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of medical office operations and billing/coding procedures
- Ability to build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Working Conditions
- Salaried exempt position requiring flexibility to work extended hours when necessary
- Primarily office-based with travel between clinic locations
- Physical requirements: Frequent sitting, document handling, and computer work; occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
