Lead Preschool Teacher

PB Schools is currently seeking qualified Lead Preschool Teachers to join our team in Lake County. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing, loving, and engaging environment for children aged birth to Pre-K. This full-time position involves hands-on teaching to ensure the educational needs of our young learners are met in a way that supports both their academic and emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a warm, respectful, and trusting environment for children in the preschool age group (birth – Pre-K).


• Develop and implement lesson plans that engage and inspire young learners.


• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.


• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.


• Foster a positive, educational, and fun atmosphere to promote a love of learning.


• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to ensure a high standard of education.


• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.


• Guide and mentor assistant teachers, ensuring they adhere to educational standards.

Qualifications:

• Current State of Florida Staff Credential 


• Current CPR and First Aid 


• Prior experience working with preschool-aged children (birth – Pre-K).


• Passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.


• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.


• Ability to develop engaging, age-appropriate educational activities.


• Must meet state-required background checks and health screenings.
