Job Description - Lead Preschool Teacher

A Bright Beginning Childcare is an established, state licensed center that has been providing quality childcare for more than 20 years! We have a 5-star rating through Guiding Stars of Duval, an accredited association that provides a quality rating improvement system for childcare centers throughout Duval County. It is our mission to grow independent and confident, compassionate individuals. Location: 8625 Old Kings Rd. S., Jacksonville, FL 32217

What We Offer:

$15-17 Hourly
- $500 Sign-On Bonus: $250 paid out at 90 days and $250 paid out at 120 days

What You’ll Do:

Guiding Classroom Operations: Take the lead in shaping the overall learning experience.

Building Meaningful Connections: Forge strong relationships with both children and their families.

Fostering a Positive Environment: Create a consistently positive, clean, and nurturing space for the children under your care.

What You Bring to the Table:

Age: Be a minimum of 18 years old.

Certification & Education:
- Active CDA, College Coursework in ECE, or a Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in ECE.
- Completed and active DCF 45 Hours.

Experience: 2-3 years in a licensed childcare facility.

Training Requirements:
- Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
- Pass a Background Check.

Shift: Ability to work 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
