THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

FanDuel is looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our Sportsbook UX & Design team and drive forward some of the most ambitious product initiatives in the industry. This is a senior individual contributor role for a craft-focused designer who thrives in ambiguity, leads with influence, and delivers high-quality, customer-first design at scale.

As a Lead Product Designer, you'll shape major product experiences across mobile and web platforms, collaborating with product, engineering, and research partners to define strategies, explore opportunities, and execute solutions. You’ll mentor others, contribute to process improvements, and play a critical role in elevating our design culture.

This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on the #1 Sportsbook in the U.S., delivering intuitive, exciting, and trusted experiences for millions of bettors.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

As a Lead Product Designer, you’ll play a central role in shaping key initiatives across the Sportsbook experience—contributing from early discovery through to high-quality delivery. This is a hands-on role focused on design leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional craft.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, UX Research, Commercial, and Data Science to align customer needs with business goals. You’ll help guide direction, contribute to quarterly planning, and represent design in senior forums.

You’ll lead through doing—facilitating workshops, refining product vision, and delivering polished, intuitive experiences. You’ll also mentor designers and help strengthen how we work across teams, from process to practice.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 7+ years of experience in product design, ideally within high-scale consumer digital environments

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on leadership in product design, driving complex, cross-functional initiatives and guiding fellow designers along the way.

  • Proven track record designing intuitive, high-quality product experiences across mobile and web platforms.

  • Strong skills in interaction design, systems thinking, and visual design, with a user-centred mindset.

  • Experience collaborating with and guiding cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, and Data.

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and contributing to product strategy through creative problem-solving.

  • Ability to navigate multiple product verticals without losing clarity or momentum.

  • Design and prototyping proficiency with tools such as Figma, along with strong knowledge of accessibility standards and design systems.

  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities—capable of influencing decisions and aligning teams.

  • Experience leading other designers across initiatives, mentoring and helping elevate team craft.

  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information into concise, focused insights to guide solution exploration and iterative design decisions that deliver measurable impact.

  • Knowledge of sports and/or experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., gaming, finance, healthcare) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

  • Familiarity with betting products, fan engagement tools, or real-time digital platforms.

Don’t meet every requirement?

  • That’s okay—we encourage you to apply if you bring adjacent skills or relevant experience and are excited to learn more.
