Overview

Join a dynamic engineering team developing cost estimates for cutting-edge renewable energy and infrastructure projects. As a Lead Project Estimator, you'll leverage your expertise in conceptual engineering and value engineering to ensure project success while working on exciting technologies including wind, solar, energy storage, and hydrogen innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of detailed project cost estimates from conceptual to definitive stages
• Perform conceptual engineering design and develop preliminary construction plans
• Conduct value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Develop and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies
• Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans
• Present cost analyses to senior management and stakeholders
• Mentor junior estimators and foster knowledge sharing

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in project estimating, conceptual engineering, and project design
• Experience with utility-scale energy projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
