Job Description - Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. We are looking for someone that is positive, personable, and enjoys working with children.
Peak Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary team that offers Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, and occupational therapy in Norman, Oklahoma City, Lawton, and Tulsa. You’ll be a part of a collaborative team that provides a unified approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities.

Qualifications:
1-2 year of experience working as an RBT, and Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, child development, or a related field, OR a combination of experience and education is preferred.
Knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis
Ability to work in a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, and in-home environments
Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
Must have great problem-solving skills
Must be highly organized and have a great eye for details
Ability to lead and supervise other RBTs
Proficient in data collection and analysis
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Physically able to play on the floor with children for long periods of time (crawl, kneel, sit, stand, and bend).
Proficient in using technology
Ability to communicate effectively in large and small groups
Passionate about helping children and their families
A valid driver’s license
Central Reach experience
Leadership experience
A reliable vehicle and up-to-date vehicle insurance
A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) without recent or significant driving infractions. An MVR is required within the first 30 days of employment and will be conducted yearly.
Available to work full time (40 hours per week)
Essential Functions
The Lead RBT shall be responsible for:
Attending and occasionally leading team meetings
Thoroughly and effectively documenting all sessions, including converting appointments in a timely manner
Creating the weekly schedule for RBTs and clients
Recruiting, interviewing and hiring BTs and RBTs to maintain adequate staffing levels
Executing an onboarding plan and coordinating training/shadowing for new BTs and RBTs
Managing a staff of BTs and RBTs, from coaching to performance improvement plans
Tracking RBT requirements for credentialing and maintaining credentialed status of staff with the BACB
Ensuring that Slack channels are accessible to appropriate team members
Regularly auditing RBT SOAP notes for accuracy and completeness
Performing regular Fidelity checklists on RBTs
Verifying RBT hours for payroll purposes on a bi-weekly basis
Tracking attendance of clients and BTs/RBTs to ensure expectations are being met
Ensuring that RBTs are following client treatment plans
Assisting Clinical Director and BCBAs to maintain program continuity
Providing direct therapy coverage, as needed (see RBT Job Description)
Aiding in parent meetings
Assisting with the client intake process
Maintaining all clinical records in accordance with HIPAA
Maintaining professionalism with parents and/or caregivers
Communicating effectively with everyone on the client’s treatment team
Other duties, as assigned
Work Environment
This position works primarily in the clinic setting, but does include in-home and community sessions when required, and may require consistent driving and visiting service recipients. This position may cause exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids.
Travel
This position requires some travel. While performing the duties of this position, the Behavior Technician travels by his or her own automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions. The Behavior Technician must maintain personal insurance of the vehicle that they utilize during work hours. Current Vehicle Insurance Verification must be provided every six months.
Benefits:
Salaried position ($32,000 to $38,000)
Eligible to earn up to $5,000 annual in incentive pay when expectations are met (as outlined in the Lead RBT Incentive Plan)
