Position Summary:
The Lead Registered Dietitian is a full-time position comprised of multiple clinical and administrative responsibilities related to the FACE to FACE Partial Hospitalization Eating Disorders Program as well as the Outpatient Program. This position will require working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest quality of care to consumers in an acute setting.

Essential Duties / Functions:
Provide mentorship to other Registered Dietitians (RDs) on staff to promote professional development and organizational mission.
Facilitate monthly dietetic meetings.
Support Clinical Director, Assoc. Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisor, and/or any PHP staff with PHP-related tasks.
Provide oversight with dietetic processes; including but not limited to ordering groceries, reducing food waste, serving food safely and effectively.
Provide support and oversight with meal support process.
Serve as preceptor for dietetic interns.
Conduct Nutrition Education Groups during PHP, including cooking and eating with the PHP consumers.
Stock the Eating Disorders Milieu by grocery-shopping at least once per week and filling the milieu with food and supplies.
Meet individually with PHP consumers to create individualized meal plans as well as conduct follow-ups.
Call parents of minors to provide updates.
Maintain Outpatient Dietetic Appointments/caseload, ensuring that payments received for service are accurate.
Support Eating Disorders PHP Therapists during PHP milieu time: Remain in the milieu and assist with co-facilitating groups as needed in accordance with professional standards and the policies/procedures of the facility.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patients’ progress as required by the clinic’s policies/procedures.
Attend Eating Disorder outreach events as needed.
Attend daily FACE to FACE administrative/clinical meetings.
Attend weekly ED Consultation/Training.
Oversee RDs schedules to ensure that appointments are being booked with them, both PHP and Outpatient.
Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic environment.
Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or other related field. Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Experience working with eating disorders consumers is highly preferred. Must be able to work well with all types of people and all populations including children, adolescents, and adults.
Working Conditions: Staff are to dress professionally at all times per Employee Handbook. Staff will need to be prepared to be actively involved with consumers.
Master’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or other related field required. Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Two years of clinical experience working with eating disorders consumers is required. Must be able to work well with all types of people and all populations including children, adolescents, and adults.
