Full time/80 hours per pay\n\nDays/ 0700-1530\n\nThe Lead Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Nurse is responsible for supervising employees, in all phases of the nursing process in the Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Department. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Lead Nurse functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of Nursing based on evidence based principles. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Lead Nurse coordinates \u0026 directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team and is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards and institutional policies and procedures. The Cardiac/Pulmonary Lead Nurse provides physical, emotional, spiritual \u0026 psychosocial support for the cardiac/pulmonary patients/families/significant others. Performs patient assessments, planning, implementation, education of patient\u2019s risk modification and outcome evaluation of the cardiac/pulmonary patient. Develops \u0026 revises the exercise prescription plan based on the guidance of the Medical Director. Acts as a resource for the physician \u0026 other healthcare team providers. . \n \n--- \n \nGraduate of accredited program of professional nursing required.\n\nLicensure: \nLicensed as a Registered Nurse to practice in the State of Ohio\n\nCertification: \nBLS certification required. ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire\n\nExperience: \nTwo years clinical nursing experience with at least one year in a critical care setting required.\n\nSkills:\n\n\u00b7 Proficient at EKG interpretations. Excellent communication skills and able to work independently with excellent organizational skills.\n\n\u00b7 Basic computer literacy and applications for data entry and record maintenance.\n\n\u00b7 Ability to recognize life threatening conditions and implement basic life sustaining actions.\n\n \n
