What You’ll Do
As a Lead Roofing Advisor, you will:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Roofing Advisors to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Drive sales by assessing customers' needs and providing tailored roofing solutions through retail and insurance channels.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing and post-sale support.
  • Monitor and manage performance metrics, support CRM discipline, and ensure accountability across your team.
  • Participate in and help lead daily and weekly training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Provide strategic insight on market trends, lead quality, and sales strategies to leadership.
  • Represent Northpoint professionally in all interactions—with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new Roofing Advisors, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
  • Drive team collaboration by encouraging open communication, sharing data, and problem-solving collectively.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and oversee the documentation of all team sales activity.
  • Utilize marketing tools and analytics to maximize both personal and team efficiency.
  • Perform customer site visits, inspections, roof measurements, and payment collections as needed.
  • Keep current on product knowledge, industry trends, and company updates by attending department meetings.
What You Bring
  • Proven leadership experience—prior experience leading or mentoring a sales team, formally or informally.
  • At least 2 years of roofing sales experience, with a strong understanding of both retail and insurance sales preferred.
  • Excellent communicator and motivator, with the ability to coach and lift up team members.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using iPads, CRMs, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills; able to confidently handle objections and close deals.
  • Ability to manage and balance personal sales goals while guiding a team to collective success.
  • Willingness to travel locally, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Physically able to climb roofs and safely use ladders and inspection equipment.
