Position Summary
- The Lead Salesperson will be the face of the Sloan’s brand in the community. This role is responsible for driving revenue by creating and maintaining strong relationships with lead-generating partners while representing our company and values throughout the sales and after-care process.This is a relationship-driven role focused on long-term partnerships, trust, and consistent follow-through, not transactional selling. As the Lead Salesperson, you will have the opportunity to service and sell the vast majority of company leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and grow relationships with referral partners including: Realtors, Storage facilities, Assisted living and senior living communities, Restoration companies, Home staging companies, HOAs and property managers, and other strategic lead sources
- Actively represent the company through in-person visits, presentations, networking events, and community engagement
- Serve as a professional, knowledgeable resource for partners and customers
- Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to operations while maintaining involvement through post-move follow-up and after-care
- Communicate our value proposition and service standards consistently and accurately while maintaining a high closing percentage on generated leads
- Collaborate closely with internal operators on completion of sales, execution, and customer service
- Track a high volume of customers, activities, lead sourcing relationships, and results using company systems and tools

Qualifications
- 3+ years in moving and storage industry sales, relationship management, and business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Compensation & Ownership
- Compensation: Industry-standard commission rates on various types of booked revenue. To support a smooth transition, this role includes a guaranteed commission draw for the first 90 days, equating to $50,000 annualized, which will be reconciled against earned commissions.
