Regional Audio Video Experts, Inc. is seeking a skilled Lead Security Installer to join our team. As the Lead Security Installer, you will be responsible for installing and configuring security systems for our clients. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' properties are secure, providing them with peace of mind and top-notch security solutions.

We truly enjoy the relationships that we build with our clients. We specialize in customization during our installations and, if we can not purchase a piece of equipment, we will create one.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Install and configure security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms systems, and access control systems.
- Leading a team onsite for installation projects and teams from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and quality workmanship.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Test security systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet client and manufacturer specifications.
- Provide training to clients on how to use their new security systems effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during installation or post-installation.
- Maintain accurate records of all installations, including equipment used, configurations, and client information.
- Stay updated on the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Mentor and train junior installers, providing guidance and support as needed.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5 years proven experience as a Security Installer Team Lead.
- Strong knowledge of security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver and work in tight spaces.
- Ability to safely work on heights, ladders, scissor lifts, bucket trucks etc.
- Ability to pull wire, cables, low voltage and bend conduit.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand, power tools, and computers.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEDIA, ESA) are a plus.

- Monday to Friday 7:30a - 5:00p
- Saturday and Overtime Potential
