The Lead Slot Attendant supports Slots management in building a highly motivated Slot Attendant team dedicated to providing exemplary customer service in accordance with our GOLDEN service standards. This position leads and trains Slot Attendants on their assigned shift, ensuring all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all assigned Slot Attendants are maintaining floor presentation, requesting, and assisting with chair sweeps, cleaning and sanitizing of slot machines, chairs, high touch areas, workstations and shared equipment to combat the spread of infectious disease, picking up debris, and reporting unsanitary debris for removal by housekeeping
Develops, supervises, and trains Slot Attendants using effective communication and exceptional interpersonal skills
Processes jackpot payouts to include the verification of all supplied documentation is authentic and that all Title 31 requirements are met
Ensures assigned Slot Attendants adhere to policies and procedures
Creates floor schedules for Slot Attendants and assigns work sections
Ensures assigned Slot Attendants are given their breaks in a timely manner, while maintaining proper floor coverage
Resolves minor guest disputes and effectively escalates issues to management as appropriate
Maintains composure and makes good decisions under stressful circumstances
Exemplifies our GOLDEN service standards for our internal and external guests
Completes minor slot machine maintenance
Maintains a high level of productivity
Reports incidents and concerns relating to the casino, Slots department, Team Members, or guests to the appropriate leader(s)
Skills/Abilities
Must have strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Must be able to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
Must be able to navigate the jackpot database
Must be able to learn and use any program and/or technology required by the position
Strong multi-tasking skills
Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Experience
Must have 6 months minimum experience as a Slot Attendant
Must work effectively independently and as part of a team
Excellent guest service and people skills to communicate with all levels of Team Members and guests.
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
Read, write, speak and understand English; bilingual in Spanish is preferred
Ability to lead, motivate, and direct Slot Attendants
Must have an outgoing personality and caring attitude
High school diploma or GED is required
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Stands for duration of shift
May work in confined/crowded areas
Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, 10 lbs. constantly
Must have good eye/hand/foot coordination, the ability to see, and have good manual dexterity
May be exposed to high pitched noises
May be exposed to moving mechanical parts and dust/fumes/gases
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks/motions and distinguish colors\
