Lead Specialist, Global Supply Chain, Quality Assurance\n\nBelvidere, NJ\n\nThe Lead Specialist, Global Supply Chain, Quality Assurance will ensure that the North American Regional/Global Distribution Center (NARGDC) meets the applicable Quality Standards, while maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the flow of goods through the warehouse/distribution center. They will safeguard the NARGDC License to Operate regarding the Quality Standards of the warehouse/distribution center and provide basic support to the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Quality Assurance Manager.\n\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\n\n * Materials Management\n * QA verification of repackaged/relabeled and damaged/non-conforming material\n * Customer sampling/aliquot documentation review\n * Local oversight of the Global Product Returns process\n * New material receipt oversight\n * Storage temperature monitoring\n * SAP material status change request handling\n * Material destruction form handling\n * Facility Support\n * Management of Change (MOC) - QA Risk Assessment\n * Calibration/preventive maintenance work order review\n * Pest management oversight\n * Regulatory/Quality Management Support\n * Customer complaints \u2013 internal (ownership); external (investigator)\n * Deviation investigations\n * CAPA management\n * Qualification/validation\n * Audit/self-inspection\n * FDA/USDA Regulatory Holds\n * Documentation Management\n * Quality Management System (QMS) Documentation Authorship\n * Projects, Special Assignments and Continuous Improvement\n * Additional projects/assignments can be assigned if/when required.\n * General Conduct\n * Completion of day-to-day job responsibilities in accordance with the Warehouse Operations\n * Compliance with NA regional quality plan\n * Demonstration of leadership by working to Safety, Health, Environmental \u0026 Quality (SHE\u0026Q) standards and encouraging colleagues to work to the same standards.\n\n\n * Assurance of Quality at a critical site, in a complex and dynamic environment\n * Demonstration of fast responsiveness to keep an uninterrupted flow of goods\n * Oversight of the storage and handling of many differing materials, governed by varied international and local regulations and internal quality requirements\n * Adaptation to rapid changes and moving targets, regarding the continuously evolving quality standards, processes, and organization changes\n * Working with 3rd Party Logistics staff, while observing the 3PL\u0027s processes and procedures\n\n\n\nWe Bring:\n\n * A competitive compensation package, with comprehensive health and welfare benefits\n * A place to grow and develop\n * A company that is purpose-led and performance-driven in a corporate culture that values people and planet\n * The opportunity to work on growing brands and build on a strong foundation\n * The chance to make improvements and make an impact on the business\n\n\n\nYou Bring:\n\n * Minimum bachelor\u0027s degree, in a relevant scientific discipline is required.\n * 3+ years of experience in a Quality role supporting warehousing and/or production operations.\n * Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal parties are required.\n * Knowledge of quality/compliance standards (e.g., GMP, GDP, HACCP, Halal, FAMI-QS) is preferred.\n * Competency in root cause analysis methods and CAPA identification is preferred.\n * Computing skills in Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) are required; experience with SAP, TrackWise, EDM and Mendix tools (e.g., iCCR) is preferred.\n * Proven analytical, leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.\n\n\n\nThe salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant\u2019s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location.
