We are seeking a strategic, creative, and highly connected Lead Specialist, Social Media & Influencer Marketing (Events) to drive social-first storytelling and influencer engagement across our portfolio of live events, experiences, and brand activations.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing integrated social media and influencer marketing strategies that generate awareness, drive attendance, increase engagement, and extend the reach and impact of our events beyond the venue. The ideal candidate is both a strategic marketer and a hands-on content creator who can independently shoot, edit, and deliver high-performing social content from live events and activations.

As a leader within the Marketing team, you will oversee event-focused social and influencer programs from concept through execution, collaborating closely with Marketing, PR, Partnerships, Creative, Production, and Event teams. You will play a critical role in shaping how audiences experience and engage with our brand before, during, and after events.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the development and execution of social media strategies supporting live events, experiential activations, conferences, sponsorships, community programs, and brand moments.
  • Create social-first event campaigns that drive awareness, registrations, attendance, engagement, and post-event amplification.
  • Oversee event content planning, live coverage, real-time storytelling, and post-event content distribution.
  • Lead influencer and creator strategy, including sourcing, recruitment, negotiations, activation, and performance measurement.
  • Cultivate relationships with creators, talent managers, agencies, and industry partners.
  • Develop influencer briefs, content guidelines, and activation plans.
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for social media and influencer initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Brand, PR, Partnerships, Creative, Communications, and Event teams. Manage agency, freelancer, and creator relationships.
  • Mentor junior team members and champion innovation in event marketing.
Content Production & Event Coverage
  • Serve as the lead content producer for key events, capturing high-quality photo and video content for real-time and post-event distribution across social media channels.
  • Independently shoot, edit, and publish platform-native content, including short-form video, interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, creator collaborations, and live event coverage.
  • Develop content capture plans and shot lists to ensure comprehensive event storytelling and maximum content output.
  • Deliver edited content on tight timelines, including same-day and real-time event recaps, social posts, reels, TikToks, stories, and highlight videos.
  • Manage on-site content production and ensure all content aligns with brand standards.
  • Repurpose event content into evergreen marketing assets for future campaigns and partnerships.
What You’ll Need:
  • 5–8 years of experience in social media marketing, influencer marketing, experiential marketing, event marketing, or related fields.
  • Proven experience developing and executing social and influencer campaigns tied to live events and activations.
  • Demonstrated experience shooting, editing, and producing social-first photo and video content.
  • Ability to independently manage the full content production lifecycle—from concept and capture through editing, publishing, and performance analysis.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms, content trends, creator ecosystems, and audience engagement strategies.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience negotiating and managing influencer partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience demonstrating business impact.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with consumer brands, entertainment, sports, hospitality, lifestyle, technology, or experiential marketing organizations.
  • Existing network of influencers, creators, talent managers, and industry partners.
  • Experience leading on-site social media coverage and live event content production.
  • Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Experience creating content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other emerging formats.
  • Strong creative instincts and passion for culture, storytelling, and community

What You’ll Get:
  • Our open floor plan allows for a creative, collaborative and fun environment.
  • Additional perks like a generous employee discount, access to employee-only sales, café, masseuse, gym, fitness and yoga classes, basketball court, and more.
