This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Stats Programmer - REMOTE. In this role, you will oversee all programming activities related to statistical analysis for clinical studies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal processes. Your expertise will contribute to the development of datasets and analysis outputs while collaborating with various stakeholders. You will also mentor junior programmers, enhancing their skills and knowledge. This position provides a critical opportunity to influence the quality of clinical trial data and outcomes, driving the success of research initiatives.
Accountabilities
- Perform the role of the Lead Statistical Programmer.
- Plan, execute, and oversee programming activities on a study.
- Develop and maintain SAS programs for SDTM and ADaM datasets.
- Produce Define XML/PDFs and Analysis Results Metadata.
- Develop specifications for datasets and contribute to standards.
- Review SAPs and TFL shells to advise on programming best practices.
- Mentor less-experienced programmers.
- Present and share knowledge at department meetings.
- Respond to QA and client audits.
- Contribute to proposal activities and bid defenses.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and quality in statistical programming.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computing, life science, or related fields.
- 6 years of SAS® programming experience in the CRO or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience as a lead statistical programmer on complex studies.
- Knowledge of clinical trials from set-up to completion.
- Broad knowledge of CDISC requirements related to SDTM and ADaM.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
