Lead Store Manager - Urgent Hiring

Position Summary

As the Lead Store Manager for Crumbs & Whiskers, you will take charge of overseeing the efficient and well-organized operations and premium customer experience of both our LA and DC C&W stores. Your role involves ensuring excellent guest experiences, fostering motivated teams, maintaining cat health and care standards, nurturing relationships with partners, achieving sales and adoption goals, and managing all physical aspects of both stores.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day operations at both stores, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company standards.
• Monitor and optimize stores for profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance revenue.
• Oversee payroll and labor planning, ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet operational needs while controlling costs.
• Provide mentorship, training, and feedback alongside store managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and recognition.
• Collaborate with store managers to plan ahead and address potential issues before they escalate, maintaining proactive problem-solving approaches.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, rescues, partner cafes, and other partners to support store operations and initiatives.
• Monitor cat health and well-being, ensuring stress-free environments and prompt reporting of any issues.
• Coordinate and execute cafe events, private bookings, and promotions to enhance customer engagement and revenue.
• Handle all store operational needs promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a multi-store environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively relay product knowledge and services to staff and customers.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of retail math.
• Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Availability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, to meet the unique needs of the business.
• Must be fully vaccinated (two weeks post-second dose).
