Position Title: Lead Surveillance Repair Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for coordinating all Surveillance efforts to properly safeguard assets of the Tribe and Casino. Ensures the security and safety of guests, employees, cash and physical assets by maintaining appropriate camera equipment, network recorders, network switches, and low voltage wiring within the Surveillance Department and Tribal properties.
The incumbent is expected to work in accordance with the mission, purpose, and values of the Colusa Indian Community Council.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all equipment used by the Surveillance department is functioning and repaired within allotted time requirements;
- Perform maintenance (installations, movements, monitors, PC’s, network equipment, cleaning, etc.) on all Surveillance equipment;
- Assist Surveillance Director in project management by compiling material lists and identifying solutions to problems.
- Train Surveillance Repair Technicians on industry standards;
- Ensure Malfunction Sheets are checked for completeness and accuracy;
- Assist in developing and training Surveillance personnel on the use of Surveillance equipment;
- Ensure all information is shared with the next shift;
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Surveillance Director, Surveillance Manager, and the Gaming Commissioners;
- Physically install cameras, network, fiber, and alarm cable as needed;
- Foster and maintain positive staff/management relations;
- May perform other duties commensurate with the functions and level of the position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: One (1) to three (3) years related experience and/training;
- Must be proficient performing maintenance on surveillance cameras, monitors, recording devices; Proficient in installing surveillance equipment and in operating needed equipment to complete installations and/or repairs and maintenance;
- Licensing: Must be 18 years of age;
- Must meet standards established for a Key Gaming license.
SUPERVISORIAL DUTIES: None
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Strong PC knowledge (hardware and software) with familiarity with Linux operating systems;
- Basic Network knowledge;
- Knowledgeable about modern methods of surveillance and security, first aid and fire safety procedures;
- Competency with low voltage wiring, general carpentry machinery and tools;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access;
- Ability to perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions and under constant time pressures;
- Dedicated hard worker with ability to report to work on a daily basis and maintain a flexible schedule.

- Will be required to stand, stoop, bend and/or kneel for significant periods of time;
- Ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time;

- Will be required to work in open heights and on hydraulic lifts.
