Lead Daycare Teacher (CDC or Associate’s Degree Required)

Auntie Nikki’s Daycare is a licensed child care center providing high-quality care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We are seeking an experienced Lead Teacher who brings strong classroom leadership, professionalism, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.

This position is intended for educators who are confident leading a classroom, implementing curriculum with intention, and maintaining high standards for safety, engagement, and child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of an assigned classroom


• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum with consistency and purpose


• Create and maintain a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment


• Model positive guidance and classroom management strategies


• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development


• Build and maintain professional relationships with parents


• Ensure classroom practices meet licensing and ECECD standards

Required Qualifications:

• CDC or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (required)


• Previous classroom leadership experience in a licensed child care setting


• Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
  


• Must meet all state background check requirements
