Lead Teacher – Children's Fitness

Love working with kids? Have big energy and aren't afraid to be a little silly? My Gym Harlem is looking for an enthusiastic Lead Teacher to help create fun, engaging, and active experiences for children in our structured, movement-based programs.

This part-time role (25 hours or less per week) is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, working with young children, and being part of a positive team environment. We provide paid training, so you'll learn everything you need to know about the My Gym program and how to lead successful classes.

Availability Requirements:Wednesday, Friday, and one weekend day are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist engaging, high-energy classes for children


• Support birthday parties, camps, and special programs


• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized gym environment


• Communicate warmly and professionally with parents and caregivers


• Assist with tours, walk-ins, and light front desk support


• Participate in occasional community events or mobile programs

Qualifications

• Reliable, energetic, and comfortable working with young children


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Ability to lead activities in an active, fast-paced environment


• Background in dance, athletics, gymnastics, theater, coaching, or early childhood education is helpful but not required
