Position Overview

As a Lead Technician, you’ll supervise a small crew (Apprentice/Mid-Level Techs) on job sites, ensure quality control, make on-site decisions, and uphold safety. You’ll collaborate with a Project Manager on bigger issues but handle daily oversight, job logs, and scheduling for your assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and train a small restoration crew (Apprentice & Tech levels).

Coordinate daily tasks, document progress, and ensure adherence to IICRC standards.

Make on-the-spot decisions regarding moisture readings, equipment placement, and jobsite changes.

Maintain job logs, safety compliance, and a high standard of customer service.

Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to clarify scope, budget, or complex concerns.

Requirements

3–5 IICRC certs (WRT, FSRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.) strongly preferred.

Leadership Ability: Prior experience guiding crews or acting as a de facto team lead.

Physical Capacity: Lift 50+ lbs, operate in PPE, and handle physically demanding tasks.

Pay Range: $25–$30/hr, reflecting leadership responsibilities and advanced certs.

Pay & Benefits

Hourly Rate: $25–$30/hr, depending on certifications and proven leadership experience.

Potential Bonuses: Quarterly performance incentives based on crew performance or safety metrics (e.g., $500–$1,000).

Advanced Training: We may sponsor additional certs or leadership workshops if you demonstrate strong potential.
