The Village Vet is looking for a compassionate, Lead Veterinary Technician to join our team, help support our clients, and make a difference within veterinary medicine through empathy, and teamwork.

This individual enjoys working hands-on with patients while also taking ownership of daily operations, team leadership, and practice efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Lead Veterinary Technician/Office Manager, your duties will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficient workflow and excellent client service
• Providing compassionate care and handling for patients of all sizes and temperaments.
• Supervise, train, and support administrative and technical staff
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms, surgical suites, and equipment.
• Performing diagnostic tests, such as lab work and radiography, under supervision.
• Educating clients on basic pet care and post-treatment instructions.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a clean and organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a Veterinary Technician is required.
• Previous Administration experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities.
• Mindset: A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care.
• Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
