Lead Warehouse Supply Chain - Full-time

Seeking Lead Warehouse Supply Chain.  This position will work dayshift, 80 hours bi-weekly and will include every other weekend.

Job Summary:

The WH Supply Chain Lead provides general direction, oversight and responsible for the day-to-day coordination of workflow for off-site warehouse techs and clerks.  

Supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior.

Essential Functions:

• S/he is responsible for distributing supplies, including linens.  

• S/he is responsible for filling in for Dist/Rec techs as needed in Receiving of supplies and placing orders for supplies at the discretion of Warehouse Supervisor.

• Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counting of inventory.

• Follows up on deliver request with courier service to ensure deliveries are made in timely manner.

• The WH Supply Chain Lead is trained and demonstrates competence in the operation of equipment including, but not limited to, forklift and pallet jack.  

• S/he also drives organization vehicles as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and oral communication skills required.  Must have ability to produce accurate work while frequently interrupted.  Demonstrated organization skills.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Valid Driver’s license (must be able to provide proof of insurance).

• A minimum of three years previous experience as a Distribution Tech required.  Previous experience with computer software such as Meditech, Outlook, Active Staffer/Report Express and Net Learning.

Physical Demands:

Sedentary - Light Work - Lifting up to 15 pounds on an infrequent basis (less than one lift every three minutes).  While work is mostly done sitting, a certain amount of walking or standing is often necessary.

Repetition:  Repeating the same motion over and over again places stress on the muscles and tendons.  The severity of risk depends on how often the action is repeated, the speed of the movement, the required force and muscles involved.

Working Conditions:

A. Only Lead in Stat Stores will have Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Risk:   Category A – WILL have exposure to blood or body fluids.

B. Warehouse Lead will not have exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens and should be  Category C – no exposure to blood or bodily fluids

Reporting Relationship:

Reports to Stat Stores Supervisor/ Warehouse Supervisor

Pay is based on experience, skills and education.   If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours.  The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.

Hourly range: $17.51 - $22.66
