Job Details

Qualifications:
Associate degree or a combination of education and at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement / LEAN manufacturing.
Proficiency in basic PC applications (Word, Excel) for documentation, report writing, and data analysis.
Ability to read, interpret, and create safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Day-to-day:
Maintain Kaizen events and coordinate all Kaizen activities.
Track lean metrics, promote lean methodologies, foster a high level of 5S organization, and establish an audit practice with supervisors to sustain Kaizen results and identify future needs.
Conduct lean training for Kaizen activities, assist new employees with lean methodologies, support employees with learning updates, provide training during new product launches or modifications, and ensure employees understand rework procedures.
Fill in for assembly supervisors and leads as needed, coordinate and maintain the flow of rework, plan and organize events, manage communication and follow-up, and create and maintain production reports and documentation.
