Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Technical Continuous Improvement Expert - V

Role Summary\n\nApplied Materials is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt who will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing continuous improvement projects \u0026 programs in supply chain and logistics. We are looking for a hands-on expert with strong technical competencies in continuous improvement, statistical toolset, DMAIC, and Lean.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Drive Continuous Improvement methods to achieve breakthrough improvements in performance metrics in logistics, supply chain and transactional business areas.\n * Understand data trends and drive quantified results by designing and deploying analytical systems and processes. \n * Drive optimization of the Value Stream by elimination of waste and making flow improvements across or within manufacturing, supply chain and logistics operations.\n * Facilitate groups through process mapping, root cause analysis, brainstorming and project planning.\n * Lead Kaizen Events and LSS Black Belt level projects within and across operations to optimize performance.\n * Coach and oversee successful completion of process improvement projects using LSS methodology.\n * Train, mentor and coach Champions and Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma tools and methodology to ensure timely completion of projects with expected client results.\n * Employ project management skills related to overall project tracking, deliverables management, action item tracking, meeting minutes, team communications, and presentations.
