As Learning and Development Advisor, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.
Your scope includes:
Assess training needs and identify skill gaps across operations.
Develop learning strategies and training roadmaps.
Create and update training materials and operating documentation.
Deliver classroom and on-the-floor training programs.
Support onboarding and development of new employees.
Partner with asset owners to build equipment operation manuals.
Lead continuous improvement of learning and development processes.
You're a natural fit for Learning and Development Advisor if you have:
At least 2 years of experience in training, learning and development, or a related role.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of high-speed manufacturing operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience developing and delivering training programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI.
Basic photo and video editing skills.

Reporting to the Competency Management Director, the Learning and Development Advisor’s mission is to participate in the definition of business partners’ training needs and in the development of innovative andragogical solutions adapted to current learning contexts in order to meet Cascades' strategic objectives. You design and deliver training courses based on the best learning methods and create a dynamic environment conducive to skills’ transfer and acquisition. You thus develop a skills development strategy that ensures a stimulating and enriching experience for all your participants. In addition, you are constantly renewing the training material at your charge and adapting it to your business partners’ changing needs. In this way, you significantly contribute to the development of the talents and key skills within the company that are necessary for its sustainability and its competitive edge.
Accountable
Support the skills development and knowledge acquisition of members of the business process team for which you are responsible.
Responsible
Understand business partners' needs in order to be able to recommend learning solutions and achieve the goal.
Develop a training strategy and course outline.
Deliver training using best practices in learning and taking into account the business context.
Communicate new skills (knowledge, expertise, know-how).
Evaluate and build on what has been learned.
Evaluate learners' progress.
Create conditions for success: support the learners, identify learning difficulties, etc.
Analyze your own training approach.
Keep your sector’s knowledge up to date, and maintain contact with the Process Committees.
Incorporate solution enhancements to maximize knowledge transfer regarding the value chain.
Update the training material under your responsibility.
Experience in adult learning and in adult training and development concepts
Knowledge of training tools and technology platforms
Knowledge of training trends and new concepts in technology training and regulatory matters
Intellectual curiosity that stimulates interest in Cascades' value chain
Strong communication skills, tact and diplomacy
Ability to support and advise business partners in analyzing their needs and finding solutions
