Position Summary As the Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the training and education process within Brooks Rehabilitation. In this position, you will design and implement training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. The Human Resources Learning and Organizational Development Team is responsible for creating and facilitating relevant and innovative solutions to meet the needs of departments, supporting the career development of all employees, and building a robust organizational culture that drives engagement, development and excellence. Responsibilities Develop, implement and manage system-wide learning programs and solutions to support professional development in alignment with our business strategy, mission, vision and values. Research and utilize innovative and effective training techniques to enhance new and existing programs and meet any changing needs of the system. Perform effective facilitation processes that enable efficient delivery of curriculum and create a conducive adult learning environment. Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods (instructor lead and e-learning). Ensure training content and materials are always up to date and continue to be effective. Conduct assessments, post training evaluations and performance benchmarking to ensure training content and delivery methods provide best in class results. Assist with strategic decisions that influence the growth of the system. Communicate clearly, effectively, frequent to identify requirements, manage expectations and provide updates to all key stakeholders.
