Jovie Nannies, a leading childcare agency, is seeking two enthusiastic and caring Childcare Teachers (Temp-to-Hire) to join our team at a warm and welcoming preschool/daycare center in Kansas City, MO (64132)!

About the Opportunity:

This is a temp-to-hire position offering the chance to secure a full-time role with benefits! In this rewarding role, you'll play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children. You'll work closely with a Lead Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging environment for either:

1–2-year-olds: Focus on fostering a sense of security, exploration, and discovery through age-appropriate activities and routines.

4–5-year-olds: Help children develop social skills, language skills, and early learning concepts through interactive play, songs, stories, and hands-on activities.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to maintain the classroom schedule and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Provide individualized attention and support to each child, catering to their unique needs and interests.
• Keep accurate records of daily activities and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space.
• Foster a love of learning through play, exploration, and positive interactions.

The Ideal Candidate has:
 

• 2 years' experience working with young children (1-2 years or 3-5 years old preferred)
• CDA or Child Development Associate coursework a plus
• Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and adults
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Creative, enthusiastic, and energetic with a positive attitude
• CPR and First Aid certified 
• 3 childcare references
• A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Willingness to complete state requirements (training, fingerprints, etc.) 

Schedule & Benefits:
 

• Full-time, temp-to-hire position (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm OR 9:00 am - 6:00 pm)
