Job Description: This position is responsible for administering staff development classes in the field of academic technology and providing assistance and strategies to Mount Paran Christian School for technology integration to enhance classroom learning.
Demonstrated effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
Demonstrated skill in the building and leading of collaborative teams;
Demonstrated skill in the effective use of conflict resolution strategies;
Thorough understanding of human cognition and the specific contexts in which technology supports and hinders learning;
Demonstrated skill in the implementation and management of a Learning Management System (Canvas) from the dual perspectives of technology integration and instructional support;
Demonstrated skills in teaching complex concepts and instructions in a caring and easy to understand manner to both adults and children;
Strong problem solving skills;
Basic knowledge and experience in discerning the general impact of prospective technological solutions on the traffic, safety, security, efficiency, legal compliance, and data integrity of the existing school network and databases;
Ability to move smoothly between and operate productively among technical and non-technical faculty and staff, translating needs and anticipating requirements of each in the development, launch, and support of feasible technological solutions;
Program development experience with the selection, implementation, and support of complex instructional technology solutions;
Experience with SIS relational databases (FACTS preferred), building solutions which furnish relevant and useful data to the school in the measurement and management of learning outcomes;
Above average troubleshooting to equip non-technical faculty and instructional support staff to troubleshoot basic operating system and end user issues. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently.

Requirements
Digital Learning & Instructional Technology Management:
Oversee and manage all digital instructional platforms, ensuring smooth integration and accessibility for students, teachers, and parents.
Managed student & faculty logins for all platforms, ensuring account security and functionality and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with the IT department as they arose.
Coordinate and maintain access to online textbooks and eBooks, troubleshooting issues and ensuring resources are up to date.
In conjunction with school leaders, evaluate the efficacy and sustainability of current and future educational technology through a formalized process.
Advise, evaluate, and recommend new educational software, apps, and tools to enhance teaching and learning.
Train and educate the IT department and faculty/staff on all instructional platforms students, parents, and teachers use, ensuring smooth support and troubleshooting processes.
Develop and organize a system for managing digital products and subscriptions PK-12 and assist in managing contracts and subscription renewals as needed.
Collaborate with division heads regarding the technical setup, logistics and technical administration of all achievement and academic testing, including but not limited to the CoGAT (Lower School), NWEA (Lower and Middle School), and on-campus college entrance exams (High School).
Serve as Tier 2 support as needed from the IT Help Desk as it relates to educational software, products, and resources. Creating, administering, and providing assistance and strategies to MPCS Teachers and Staff for technology integration to enhance classroom learning;
