PMC Property Group (PMC) is an owner, operator, and developer of primarily multifamily real estate headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. PMC’s rapidly growing portfolio is located in secondary and tertiary urban markets up and down the east coast. Due to recent and planned growth, PMC is currently seeking a Leasing Agent for its  Pittsburgh portfolio.

Leasing Agents perform many organizational tasks to help potential tenants find their new home and that meets their needs and best promote the business. Their duties and responsibilities often include:

  • Generate leads through Craigslist-- minimum of 60 posts per week
  • Weekly updates to websites and online listings
  • Manage the apartment leasing process from start to finish; receive/respond to prospect phone calls and emails, provide available unit information, tour prospects, take and process applicant information
  • Build a rapport with current tenant to give them personalized service
  • Handle the collection of rent payments, security deposits and application fees
  • Print lease and do lease signing with tenant
  • Test and release keys
  • Walk unit prior to move in to ensure all maintenance and cleaning is complete
  • Answer any questions from tenants after move-in
  • Submit move in packet directly to accounting
  • Attend local and neighborhood events
  • Create and maintain relationships with local realtors, businesses, universities, and neighborhood associations
  • Work closely with property management to develop service needs for portfolio
  • Conduct and complete Quarterly Market Surveys
  • Promote resident retention programs
  • Maintain courteous communication with residents, prospects, and brokers
  • Represent PMC in a professional manner
  • Maintain a "team spirit"
  • Maintain work areas/office in clean and orderly manner
  • Work schedule consists of four days during the week and every Saturday
  • Assists in other related tasks

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and property management skills
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
  • Experience with property leasing and negotiation
  • Familiarity with LIHTC, Section 8, and relevant software such as Yardi and OneSite
  • Proven conflict management and sales abilities
  • Administrative experience, including data entry and filing
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
