Leasing Agent

Locaton: Barony Place
Compensation: Starting at $19+/hr depending on experience

We are seeking a full-time, experienced Leasing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organized and have great attention to detail.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and handling 'Walk In' traffic
• Showing Apartments
• Leasing, marketing and public relations of the community
• Guest Card Completion
• Application processing
• Completion of required reporting to MSHDA, HUD, PHA and other government oversight departments
• Resident Retention
• Scheduling of contractors and maintenance to ensure proper apartment turns
• Walking vacant units to ensure that they are market ready
• Lease signings

Qualifications:

• Must work well in a team environment
• Problem solver with a high sense of urgency
• LIHTC, Section 8, Public Housing and/or RAD experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service skills
• 2 years verifiable experience
