Leasing Agent (Cleveland)

Job Summary

Join our fast-growing team to improve lives through real estate! This agent will be responsible for leasing apartments at Shaker Moreland Apartments and North Moreland Courts in Shaker Heights (143 units) and Clifton Lakes Apartments (52 units) in Edgewater. Through compassionate and thoughtful interactions, leasing agents play a key role in helping prospective residents find their next home.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents


• Lease market-rate apartments according to Fair Housing standards


• Respond promptly to all new inquiries, converting leads to applicants


• Manage calendar, schedule tours, and conduct showings


• Process rental applications quickly and accurately


• Establish rapport with tenants and provide personalized service during the move-in process


• Verify all move-ins are fully completed, inspected, and documented


• Collaborate with property management and maintenance to maintain high occupancy


• Monitor listing postings and advertisements


• Assist property manager with tenant care and retention


• Other projects as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate

Successful Candidate Profile

Knowledge & Experience

• General knowledge of multifamily leasing principles, including Fair Housing (required)


• 1+ year of leasing experience (required)


• Experience with property management and leasing software (preferred)


• Customer service, sales, or hospitality experience


• High school diploma

Pay Range: $18/hour base + commission
