Leasing and Property Management Specialist

• Oversee
  all aspects of Section 8/HUD compliance including certifications,
  inspections, and tenant file accuracy
  
• Manage
  lease-ups, renewals, rent collections, and maintenance coordination
  
• Ensure
  timely completion of annual and interim recertifications
  
• Monitor
  property budgets and ensure expenses stay within limits
  
• Provides
  excellent customer service. Responds to resident requests/problems in a timely,
  courteous manner, and generate work orders directed to vendors or maintenance
  staff.
  
• Conducts
  periodic inspections of the property and resident spaces to ensure compliance
  with leases and the proper upkeep of the property.
  
• Financial
  Management including income and expenditure management, financial analysis
  and reporting capabilities.
  
• Prepares
  and manages operations budgets.
  
• Oversees
  receivables and payables.
  

Requirements

• Pertinent
  local, state and federal laws, ordinances, codes, and rules; HUD – Section 8, OSHA,
  ADA, Fair Housing Act, Alaska State Landlord/Tenant Act codes
  
• HUD
  (SECTION 8 and voucher submission)
  
• 2+ years’
  experience managing Section 8, HUD, or LIHTC properties
  
• MS
  Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  

• High
  School diploma or equivalent
  

• Valid
  Alaska Driver’s License; possession of functional, insured vehicle.
