Leasing Consultant

We are seeking an engaging, energetic Floating Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of operations. Qualified candidates must be willing to float throughout our Ventura portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease available apartments.


• Post and monitor ads daily


• Answer the telephone and practice professional leasing techniques.


• Have a good understanding of the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions.


• Keep accurate records of resident and property activities.


• Process applicants' paperwork including applications, proof of income, credit, and background checks, following company policies and procedures


• Conduct move-in for new residents


• Collect and record rents and deposits.


• Comply with Fair Housing Laws.


• Perform any and all functions as requested by the Community Manager in addition to those outlined.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in property management with a strong preference for experience at larger properties.


• Fluency in Spanish a strong plus.
  


• Possess a valid driver’s license and an insured, operable vehicle.
  


• Yardi or industry-related software is a strong plus.


• Marketing savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel.
