POSITION SPECIFICATION

LEASING/ASSET MANAGEMENT ANLAYST, INDUSTRIAL

Shine Associates, LLC has been retained to search, identify and recruit a Leasing/Asset Management Analyst, Industrial, on behalf of our client (‘Company’). This person will report directly to the Asset Managers (Directors) & (Vice President). This candidate will be located in the Atlanta, GA office.

CLIENT DESCRIPTION
Our client is a privately held and vertically-integrated real estate company that develops, owns, and operates a portfolio of multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use developments.

With corporate offices in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, New York, and San Francisco, and over 1,100 employees, the firm is an experienced real estate private equity investor and manager supported by an integrated operating platform and has 63 years of experience across multiple asset classes. The Company’s current asset under management is approximately $29.7 billion.

Since inception, the firm has developed, managed, or acquired over 95,000 residential units and 32.5 million square feet of commercial space. The current portfolio includes over 53,000 residential units, 1.1 million square feet of retail and office space, and 25.5 million square feet of industrial space located in 33 markets.
LEASING/ASSET MANAGEMENT ANALYST, INDUSTRIAL
Provide analytical and reporting assistance to all asset managers. Heavily involved with the operations of each industrial property, constant oversight of capital projects, and leasing activity throughout the entire industrial portfolio. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform lease analyses for their asset managers on potential lease transactions. Leasing analysis responsibility is critical to the team as it helps determine if a potential leasing deals value meets the criteria as determined for each fund.
Participate and run various analytical projects required for the Asset Management department.
Assist in the preparation and execution of critical documents including (property management agreements, brokerage agreements, lease agreements, estoppels, etc.)
Participate and assist with creating annual budgets. Oversee the technical aspects of the budget implementation in Yardi.
Assist in preparing report to Company’s ownership and institutional investment partners.
Cultivate relationship with leasing brokers in respective markets and be in constant contact with leasing professionals to stay up to speed on market conditions and leasing activity.
Support the due diligence efforts for the acquisitions or refinancing teams.
Maintain constant communication with property managers on a weekly basis to obtain updates on various capital projects, tenant request, leasing activities, etc.
Willingness to travel to understand the markets and build relationships with brokers, vendors, etc.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Proficiency with Argus, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Yardi.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s program in any major with strong interest in Finance, Real Estate Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
