) at Stony Brook University invites applications for two full-time lecturer positions for its undergraduate division with an expected start date in the Fall 2024 semester.
The Department benefits from its highly ranked faculty in research and teaching, outstanding students, and close affiliation with experimental and theoretical research centers of international reputation, and its proximity to BNL.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
MA/MAT (foreign equivalent or higher) in Physics. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience at the High School or University level. Strong commitment to educating and mentoring undergraduate physics students. Clear and concise oral and written communication and interpersonal and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Physics or closely related discipline. Established teaching record as primary instructor in an undergraduate physics program. Experience working with a diverse student body and/or the ability to contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the Department and University.
