Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead and be involved in the daily operations of our LED Digital Message Sign department as well as maintaining our in-house IT. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and ensuring the department achieves its goals and objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Service:
- Field calls and emails from customers to troubleshoot LED Digital Message signs either on site or remotely.
- Documenting all aspects of service calls as well as providing solid solutions.
- Assemble LED Sign Cabinets to be installed.
- Setup, Program, Train customers on creating and posting sign content.
Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of work.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Stay organized with inventory counts and keeping customer data up to date.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Collaborate with other managers to achieve company-wide objectives.
- Represent the department in meetings and presentations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 Years of experience in a similar role, preferably in IT or the Sign Industry.
Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiant in Low Voltage Systems, Basic Networking, Windows OS, Troubleshooting
Other Skills: Proficiency in Business Management Software, Office 365, Low Voltage, Cable Management, P2P Ubiquity Bridge Setups, Remote Software Support, GoDaddy Email & Domain, VOIP Systems, PoE Camera Systems.
This position does require the use of a bucket truck on a regular basis. Training is provided.
Fork Lift Certified is a PLUS!
Knowlege of Photoshop and Illustrator is a PLUS!
Must have own hand tools such as drills, low voltage tools such as RJ45 Crimper, multimeter and pliers.
Most consumables are paid for by NAS.
