Legal Assistant / Entry-Level Paralegal

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Location:

Note:

This role requires in-office work and at least some prior exposure to New York civil litigation. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

Job Description

• Review legal and case-related documents with strong attention to detail
• Conduct factual and case-related research
• Prepare and file legal documents including motions and judgments
• Handle NYSCEF filings and case organization
• Assist attorneys with litigation support and deadline management
• Perform scanning, filing, and general legal and clerical support
• Make occasional court and bank runs as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the internal team

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in NY civil litigation preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and sense of ownership
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Google Workspace
• Willingness to learn and grow within a litigation practice
