Job Summary

Virgo & Aries LLC is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to provide high-level administrative and legal support to an Equity Partner.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of legal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation, along with strong organizational, communication, document preparation, and case management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to an Equity Partner.
  

• Manage calendars, court deadlines, appointments, and case schedules.
  

• Draft and prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
  

• Maintain case files, medical records, and litigation documents.
  

• Communicate professionally with attorneys, courts, insurance carriers, medical providers, and clients.
  

• Assist with trial preparation, deposition scheduling, and case management.
  

• Monitor court rules, filing deadlines, and applicable procedures.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
  

• Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred.
  

• Medical malpractice experience preferred; willingness to learn will be considered.
  

• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation.
  

• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
  

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case-management software.
  

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
