Our client is a law firm. They seek a temp to perm Legal Assistant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily court calendaring and scheduling
- Schedule EBTS, EUOS, and 50-H hearings
- Coordinate attorney schedules
- Review and handle filing in NYSEF and EDDS
- Handle emailing and draft letters
- Complete photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Carry out data entry tasks and maintain records
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors
- Research legalities and assist with drafting documents
Requirements
- 3+ years of clerical or administrative experience
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures is a plus
- Strong research skills and ability to draft legal documents
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
