Legal Assistant - Start Immediately

Our client is a law firm. They seek a temp to perm Legal Assistant to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily court calendaring and scheduling
• Schedule EBTS, EUOS, and 50-H hearings
• Coordinate attorney schedules
• Review and handle filing in NYSEF and EDDS
• Handle emailing and draft letters
• Complete photocopying, scanning, and filing 
• Carry out data entry tasks and maintain records
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors
• Research legalities and assist with drafting documents

Requirements

• 3+ years of clerical or administrative experience
• Knowledge of legal administrative procedures is a plus
• Strong research skills and ability to draft legal documents
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills
