Legal Assitant for Immigration - Professional Development Opportunities

Currently hiring a Legal Assistant with experience in Immigration. This position is onsite Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm near the Airport of Miami, FL.

Responsibilities:

-This position is primarily responsible for reviewing, organizing, and completing client files during the life cycle of the case.
-Monitors the case status and collects necessary documentation.
-Prepares documents for the attorney’s review and assists in the submission/mailing process.
-Schedules hearings, mediations, and appointments for the attorney as well as the client.
-Oversees the case time management to ensure fast resolutions.
-Keeps details records of notes, client communications and tasks.
-Answers clients questions and refers clients to attorney if necessary.
-Maintains case costs, fees and expenses by verifying outstanding balances with attorneys, clients and 3rd parties.
