Everstaff is seeking a Legal Coordinator for a manufacturing company in the Brook Park area. Salary - $20-30/hr.
Full Benefits Job Duties:
Meet with attorneys and other professional stakeholders to discuss assigned projects Review and draft legal documents including agreements and other documents for the Company Research and analyze statues, regulations, legal articles, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys and other stakeholders in the Company Assist attorneys and other professional stakeholders in completing forms, questionaries, certifications, and applications required by Company customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities Assist in performing corporate secretary functions, including maintaining resolutions, state qualifications, and various other tasks Create and maintain documents related to Company M&A activity; act as Company’s central document project coordinator for virtual data rooms Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve legal files, maintaining the legal database of agreements and contracts
Experience & Skills:
A high school diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgement Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify
