This is not an entry-level role. Candidates must have at least 1 years of litigation legal secretary experience with direct medical malpractice exposure to be considered.

Job Description
Draft, revise, proofread, and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, expert schedules, and court appearances
Manage court filings and e-filings while tracking deadlines and procedural compliance
Maintain and organize litigation files and case records from inception through resolution
Oversee attorney calendars, scheduling, and day-to-day litigation logistics
Serve as the primary legal secretary supporting firm leadership
Coordinate workflow and case support across the legal support team
Mentor and guide additional legal assistants and secretarial staff
Qualifications
1+ years of litigation legal secretary experience
Direct experience supporting medical malpractice attorneys
Strong knowledge of medical malpractice procedures, filings, and deadlines
Proven ability to manage complex calendars, depositions, and litigation schedules
Experience with time entry, billing, and litigation support operations
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and legal document systems
